Clientele
You've probably noticed that, unlike many companies, we don't trumpet our clients' names or logos all over our website. Firstly, we've always felt that it was for our clients to talk about us and not the other way around. Over the years this has certainly led to a good number of referrals. Secondly, many of our clients work in sensitive industries such as financial and legal services and ask us to sign non-disclosure agreements. If your organisation would feel more comfortable signing a non-disclosure agreement before working together please feel free to email it over. Alternatively, if you don't have a non-disclosure agreement at hand, just email us and we'll send you ours for your perusal.
To help you better understand how we might help, here are a series of client profiles, one of which you may well identify with:
A) Financial professionals
Our team has worked for a large number of global financial institutions, ranging from large UK retail banks to smaller Swiss private banks and asset management companies. In the world of finance, a dot or a comma can make a major difference. That’s why it is essential that financial documentation be entrusted not only to top-class linguists but specifically to financial specialists. All our financial translators and reviewers are specialised in the field. Our management team also has broad experience working in the financial sector, enabling us to provide the quality translations our clients need. Regardless of the size and nature of your operation we'd be delighted to help and we more than likely already have experience in your specific domain. Here are some examples of our regular work:
- Internal documentation: investment guidelines, regulatory compliance (KYC regulations, financial crime prevention), custody agreements…
- Marketing documentation: investment fund brochures, performance updates, websites, newsletters…
- Research: market commentary, analyst recommendations…
B) Listed companies
Much of our work is for listed companies, either directly or via the agencies responsible for preparing their financial reporting. We've worked for companies in a host of industries, ranging from public relations to software development and mining companies. Industries we don't work with include, for example, medical device manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies. We simply don't have the in-house expertise to properly handle the material. If we don't feel comfortable with a domain, we'll tell you! Here are some examples of our regular work:
- Financial reporting: financial statements, annual reports, management reports…
- Internal documentation: IAS / IFRS documentation, accounting policies, audit manuals, internal control procedures…
- Investor relations: earnings, corporate announcements, documentation for annual general meetings, press releases…
- IT: Internet platforms, user guides, specifications…
- Legal: articles of association, assorted agreements, assorted terms and conditions, stock option plans…
- Marketing: websites, newsletters, surveys…
- Tender Documentation: calls for tenders and bids...
C) SMEs
SMEs come in all shapes and sizes. Indeed, Stranslations would probably fall naturally into this very category. We therefore implicitly understand what sort of service they are after. Many of our SME clients work in the professional services sector but we also work with companies as diverse as dynamic software houses and consumer direct mailing services. Here are some examples of our regular work:
- Financial: accounts, management reports…
- IT: Internet platforms, user guides, specifications…
- Legal: articles of association, assorted agreements, assorted terms and conditions…
- Marketing: websites, newsletters, surveys…
